About Us

Broban Exporters is a family run company in Kenya partnering with KALRO PTC Thika which is a Governmental training and research center in horticulture and floriculture. Broban is directed by Joseph Obango, Monica Mung'ari, Brian Amunga and John Ian. We've been working in conjunction with Ton dui and Dennis Bangaraaf from the Netherlands. We have consistently produced and exported high quality flowers over a period of ten years and created our mark in both the Kenyan and International markets.

The close involvement of family members in the day to day operations of the company has also created and motivated a proffesional production team. We mainly deal with roses and summer flowers. The company is located in Thika region, Central Kenya 50 KM off Nairobi, an altitude of 1500 M above sea level. The total acrage of the farm is approx. 20 Ha, with most of it planned for summer flowers in a rotational system over the course of a year.
The company also has in its books around 100 small-scale farmers from around the country that plant summer flowers. The farmers are well trained in professional agricultural practice in horticulture co-ordinated by Broban Company and orgarnized and facilitated by Fpeak in conjunction with KALRO, KEPHIS, PCPB, HCDA and The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries supported by USAID. The company has seen its values grow and has continuosly exported quality flowers to the International market.
